Trees NT 2007
In 2007 I photographed a series of trees after spring rain in Uluru National Park in the Northern Territory. My attention was drawn to the shapes of these particular dead trees in contrast to the aliveness of the desert grasses. These images contrast to traditional tree photographs. They form a reflection on the beauty of decay and the aesthetics of natural forms as they move from life to death.
